Irmscher ID.Buzz – more than hippie at the iconic star

For more than 55 years, the Irmscher group of companies has been offering individual solutions for vehicles of all body types for almost every application. In the Irmscher Van Systems department, the Remshalden-based company has been dealing specifically with vehicles from the van segment for several years - both in complete conversions and in customisation. In the field of electric mobility, the Irmscher group of companies has a wealth of experience, not least because of the electrification of its own roadster Irmscher Selectra.

Making the iconic ID.Buzz even hipper was the task the creative Irmscher people took on. The result is a van that is much more than a reinterpretation of a hippie vehicle. The front is strikingly emphasised by a revised front apron with the seamlessly integrated Irmscher front spoiler lip. At the side, the side skirts are perfectly integrated into the side line and extend it. Finally, the lines of the side sill flow into a rear skirt extension which, in combination with the discreet roof spoiler, already makes the rear section look much more dynamic - as a result, the overall car stands more firmly on the road. All newly developed parts are subjected to extensive test runs at Irmscher, such as wind tunnel tests and pedestrian protection tests. A coordinated colour concept connects the individual elements on the vehicle.

The newly developed "New Star" generation of rims in the 20-inch dimension with their five twisted double spokes perfectly match the surfaces of the Volkswagen ID.Buzz. Other rims are also available in the Irmscher range. All rims are available in the exclusiv version (surfaces diamond polished) or in black. With the newly developed spring set (-30mm) for suspension optimisation, the ID.Buzz rides like on rails.
